Cat in Berlin is a Berlin based cat-loving company, dedicated to crafting exclusive bow ties, ties and versatile scarves for cats and other small pets. All our products are handmade in very limited numbers in our Berlin studio, using the highest quality fabrics from all over the world. They are mostly made of 100% cotton and printed/designed in Japan, Germany, Scandinavia, Italy or the USA.
What else makes them so special? Our bow ties and ties are self-tied and made the “old school” way, the only difference to a people's bow tie is the fastening system in the back and of course the cuteness factor. Fashion is important, but safety comes first. Therefore, the bow ties and ties are secured around the neck with velcro to ensure the safety of your pet and to support multiple neck sizes at the same time. However, we do not recommend using them without supervision or on outdoor pets.
All Accessories were specially designed for cats and have the perfect fit. They fit neck sizes from approx. 19cm - 26cm and are suitable for any other pet with the same neck size. Some products have a slightly different fit due to the nature of the fabrics used, so please check the measurements of each individual item. Meet the new boss and the intern!
In case you wondered – our original boss/meowdel was our 16-year old tabby cat Max. We adopted him from a shelter when he was a kitten and it was love at first sight. He inspired us to start Cat in Berlin and now owns the purrfect Accessorie for every occasion. He lost his left eye due to a tumor in 2013 and lived a happy life for a few more years. He sadly passed away in March of 2021. We miss him dearly. 💔
The "new boss" of our family is our british shorthair cat Mini. He is 8 years old. He really like to pose but prefers to nap & eat all day.
The newest member of our family is Buddy. He is a few months old, super cute and already became Mini's buddy.
